What is PrecisionRush?
PrecisionRush is a precision-timing skill game where you test your reflexes by stopping a digital timer as close as possible to target times. Challenge yourself across multiple game modes including Arcade, Zen Practice, Multiverse, Daily Challenges, Battle Mode, and Bonus Rounds. Earn coins, level up, unlock achievements, and compete on global leaderboards!
Is PrecisionRush free to play?
Yes! PrecisionRush is 100% free with no paywalls, no advertisements, and no pay-to-win mechanics. All game modes, features, cosmetics, and content are accessible without spending money. We offer an optional "Support the Developer" donation feature, but it has zero impact on gameplay.
How do I earn coins?
Coins are earned through gameplay:
- S-Tier shots: 15 coins per shot
- Perfect shots: 10 bonus coins
- Daily missions: Complete missions for coin rewards
- Daily calendar: Log in daily for cumulative rewards (up to 500 coins on day 7)
- Battle Mode wins: Win battles to earn wagered coins
Coins cannot be purchased with real money and are used to buy cosmetics and power-ups.
What are the different game modes?
PrecisionRush offers 6 game modes:
- Arcade: 5 attempts to achieve the highest score (power-ups available)
- Zen Practice: 20 attempts for relaxed practice with no pressure
- Multiverse: Advanced mode with 3 rounds of 4 simultaneous stopwatches
- Daily Challenge: One set of daily targets, available once per day
- Battle Mode: Compete against AI opponents or recorded sessions (entry fee required)
- Bonus Round: Three attempts in a rotating daily challenge
How do I change the background?
Open Settings, choose Background, then select Tactile Pop or Daybreak Arcade. Use Background Opacity to set the artwork between 35% and 100%. Your choice is saved for the next launch. Reset Settings restores Tactile Pop at full opacity.
How do achievements and progression work?
PrecisionRush features multiple progression systems:
- Level System: Earn XP through gameplay to level up (100 + level × 50 XP per level)
- Season Tiers: Earn 1000 XP per tier across 30 tiers each season
- Achievements: Unlock 11+ badges including milestones like "Flawless Game", "7-Day Streak", and "Top 10 Weekly"
- Daily Missions: Complete 4 daily missions across 9 difficulty tiers
- Login Streaks: Maintain daily login streaks for rewards
What are power-ups and how do I use them?
Power-ups are consumable items available in Arcade and Daily Challenge modes:
- 2X XP (75 coins): Double your XP gain for the next game
- Extra Life (100 coins): Get one additional attempt in Arcade mode
- Slow Motion (135 coins): Timer runs 20% slower for easier precision
Purchase power-ups with coins before starting a game. They are consumed after one use.
How do leaderboards work?
Leaderboards are powered by Apple Game Center (authentication required). There are multiple leaderboards:
- All-Time Leaderboards: Arcade, Multiverse, and Daily Challenge best scores
- Weekly Leaderboards: Arcade and Multiverse weekly best scores (reset every Monday)
- Global Rankings: Compete with players worldwide (up to 25 visible entries)
Your scores are submitted automatically after each game if connected to Game Center.
What is the "Support the Developer" feature?
The "Support the Developer" feature allows you to make a voluntary one-time donation to support ongoing game development. Available in the Settings tab, donations:
- Are completely optional
- Have zero impact on gameplay (no advantages, no unlocks)
- Are processed securely through Apple's payment system
- Show your appreciation and support continued updates
Donations are non-refundable (subject to Apple's refund policy). Thank you for your support!
How do I unlock cosmetics?
All cosmetics are unlocked by purchasing them with coins earned through gameplay:
- Stopwatch Themes: Customize your timer's appearance (1000-2500 coins)
- Particle Effects: Change celebration animations
- Profile Frames: Customize your profile border
Items have different rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary) affecting their cost. No cosmetics can be purchased with real money.
Do I need an internet connection to play?
No! PrecisionRush works completely offline. An internet connection is only required for:
- Submitting scores to Game Center leaderboards
- Syncing achievements with Game Center
- Making in-app purchases (donations)
- Sending optional analytics data
All game modes, progression, and features work without an internet connection.
How can I disable analytics?
You can disable analytics at any time:
- Open PrecisionRush
- Go to the Settings tab
- Find the "Analytics" toggle
- Turn it off
When analytics are disabled, no gameplay data or device information is sent to Firebase Analytics. Your game progress and settings remain stored locally on your device.
Troubleshooting
Game Crashes or Freezes
If you experience crashes or freezing:
- Force quit the app: Double-tap the home button (or swipe up on newer iPhones) and swipe up on PrecisionRush
- Restart your device: Hold the power button and slide to power off
- Update the app: Check the App Store for available updates
- Free up storage: Ensure you have at least 500MB of free space
- Reinstall the app: Delete and reinstall from the App Store (your progress is saved locally and will be restored)
If the issue persists, please contact us with your device model and iOS version.
Leaderboards Not Updating
If your scores aren't appearing on leaderboards:
- Check Game Center: Ensure you're signed in to Game Center in iOS Settings
- Internet connection: Leaderboards require an active internet connection
- Score submission delay: Leaderboards may take a few minutes to update
- Game Center restrictions: Check if Game Center is restricted in Screen Time settings
In-App Purchase Issues
If you encounter problems with donations:
- Payment declined: Check your payment method in Apple ID settings
- Purchase not processing: Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Refund requests: Contact Apple Support directly for refunds (we cannot process refunds)
- Receipt not showing: Restart the app to refresh purchase status

Lost Progress or Data
Your progress is saved locally on your device. If you've lost progress:
- Check iCloud backup: If enabled, your data may be backed up to iCloud
- Avoid multiple devices: Progress is device-specific and doesn't sync across devices
- App reinstalls: Reinstalling may preserve data if you don't delete app data explicitly
Important: We cannot recover lost progress as all data is stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
Performance Issues (Lag, Frame Drops)
To improve performance:
- Enable Reduce Motion: Go to Settings and enable "Reduce Motion" accessibility option
- Disable Particles: Turn off particle effects in game settings
- Close background apps: Free up device memory by closing unused apps
- Turn off Screen Shake: Disable screen shake in settings
- Update iOS: Ensure your device is running the latest iOS version
Tips for Better Gameplay
Pro Tip: Here are some strategies to improve your precision:
- Practice in Zen Mode: Use 20 free attempts to learn timing patterns
- Show milliseconds: Enable the precise timing display in Settings if you find it useful
- Build combos: Consecutive S-tier shots increase your score multiplier (up to 3.0x)
- Use power-ups strategically: Save power-ups for high-stakes Daily Challenges
- Complete daily missions: Easy way to earn coins and XP consistently
- Maintain streaks: Completing a game each day advances the reward calendar (up to 500 coins + 750 XP on day 7)
- Try Battle Mode: Start with Novice bots to practice competitive play
- Adjust haptics: Find the right haptic intensity for your reaction time
